No plan to travel Canada can be complete without a visit to Nova Scotia, home of the world-famous Canadian schooner Bluenose. A racing ship and fishing vessel originally built in 1921; the Bluenose (and her successors, Bluenose II and IV) have become the province’s unofficial symbol, and have been featured on three postage stamps. The Bluenose is also on every Canadian dime!
